Franklin School District
The Franklin Public School District serves the center portion of the City, with district facilities including five elementary schools (Ben Franklin Elementary, Country Dale Elementary, Pleasant View Elementary, Robinwood Elementary, and Southwood Glen Elementary), one middle school (Forest Park Middle School), and one high school (Franklin High School).
The Franklin Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization which provides additional educational opportunities beyond what the school district provides through business and community partnerships. The Foundation is funded by donations from individuals, corporations, small businesses, foundations, and community organizations.
Oak Creek/Franklin Joint School District
The Oak Creek/Franklin Joint School District serves all of the City of Oak Creek and a 7-square mile portion of the City of Franklin. This District includes seven K-5 elementary schools (Carollton Elementary, Cedar Hills Elementary, Deerfield Elementary, Edgewood Elementary, Forest Ridge Elementary, Meadowview Elementary, and Shepard Hills Elementary), two middle schools (East Middle and West Middle), and one high school (Oak Creek High). A half-day 4K program is also offered through this School District.
Whitnall School District
The Whitnall School District serves three communities: Hales Corners, Greenfield, and Franklin. It includes two elementary schools (Edgerton Elementary and Hales Corners Elementary), one middle school (Whitnall Middle School), and one high school (Whitnall High School).
St. Paul's Lutheran School
St. Paul's Lutheran School, located at 6881 S. 51st Street in Franklin, Wisconsin, is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and has been in Franklin for over 140 years. Students are accepted from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Indian Community School
Indian Community School, Inc. (ICS), located at 10405 W. St. Martins Road in Franklin, Wisconsin, is a private faith-based intertribal school for American Indian children from 4-year old kindergarten through 8th grade. Founded in 1969, the tribal affiliation consists of all Wisconsin tribes as well as other federally recognized tribes - over 25 tribal Nations in total. The mission of ICS is to cultivate an enduring cultural identity and critical thinking by weaving indigenous teachings with a distinguished learning environment.
