The Engineering and Public Works Department provides the staff and materials to plan, develop, construct, operate, and maintain the public infrastructure which includes such items as the City street system; sanitary sewers; water supply and distribution system; storm sewers and drainage system; street trees; street signs; street lighting; public parks; City owned lands; and the necessary vehicles and equipment to maintain the infrastructure.
