The City of Franklin, located in the southwest corner of Milwaukee County, with an approximate population of 36,500, is seeking an energetic and self-motivated City Engineer.  The successful candidate will plan, develop, coordinate and direct large-scale municipal engineering projects.  Directs the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department with a staff of 6 full-time employees.  View full job description.  

Qualifications:  A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 7 years of related experience is required.  A Registered Professional Engineer license, supervisory experience, and a valid driver’s license are also required.  

Normal Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Participation in occasional evening meetings will be required.  This is an exempt position so scheduling is flexible to take in to account attendance at evening meetings.

Starting Range:  $100,000 to $135,000, depending on qualifications.
