Fraud Alert From the Franklin Police Department
Several senior citizens in the area have received telphone calls from a male caller who states he is their Grandson, and he has either been in a car accident or arrested in Canada. The caller states he needs money wired to help him right away.
The male caller knows the senior citizen's name, and does a very good job at getting the senior citizen to feel bad for him, making them want to help.
This is a nation wide scam, and you need to tell other senior citizens about this.
If you get this call, hang up on them.
Call your family members to see if your family members are alright. DON'T BE A VICTIM!
