The City of Franklin has three (3) fire stations serving the City. Each day (24-hour shift), there are a total of 10 on-duty firefighters and paramedics who make up the fire engines, paramedic ambulances, and special teams of the Franklin Fire Department. In addition, there is one (1) Officer in Charge (OIC) who staffs the Battalion Chief's car and provides command and operations at fire incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and other emergency incidents. Franklin Fire Department serves over 36,000 stakeholders, protecting 34 square miles of response territory.
